About

Mission Statement

There is no one path, no one way, no one program, no one solution to the negative aspects of the experience of widowhood.  I don’t believe in that.  I believe in encouraging people to find others they can talk to about their experience, and then encouraging communication between those people.

The very fact that you are interested enough to find WidowNet, to find the bulletin board, to read and to post is part of the recovery process I believe in.  You have to get up out of your despair enough to punch the button and exercise your curiosity.
